John Taylor-Smith BDS - Dentist

John has a BDS in Dentistry from the University of Otago. After graduating, he was granted two years of hospital training for oral surgery.

After that John moved to London where he spent 15 years in the West End, ten of which were at his own practise in the prestigious Harley Street area. Here he treated many well-known UK celebrities for a variety of cosmetic requirements.

This has given John a special interest in creating beautiful smiles through treatment such as implants, crowns and bridges, which he has received extra training for.

Sarah Asim – Chairside Assistant

Sarah is a qualified Dentist from Pakistan, and has been working as a dental assistant to John for over a year and a half.

She is very enthusiastic and passionate about dentistry and loves new challenges. Her latest challenge is to become a registered dentist in New Zealand.

Caroline Cullen – Oral Health Therapist (Dental Hygienist)

Caroline is originally from the UK. She has been living in New Zealand for over 11 years and studied her Bachelor of Oral Heath at Otago University.  Caroline has been working as a Dental Hygienist in private practice for over 5 years.

Caroline feels that maintaining good oral health is important for your overall health. She feels that it is important to educate and work with patients to obtain optimal health. In her spare time Caroline likes to keep fit and attends the gym regularly. Caroline also enjoys socialising with friends and travelling.
